DAY 1: Depart Australia
Depart on CZ 322 at 2330hrs to Guangzhou.

DAY 2: Arrive Taipei
Arrive in Guangzhou at 0600hrs, connect onward to Taipei on CZ 3097 at 1130hrs. Upon arrival at 1330hrs at Taoyuan Airport, transfer to the Taipei Motel. (As there are limited numbers of rooms at hotels, the 1st night accommodation varies depending on the availability of the motels) Overnight at a boutique 5 ★ motel or similar.

DAY 3: Taipei – Hualien (B/D)
The day begins with a visit to Yeliu, a famous scenic area in the north coast of Taiwan. Next continue to Jiufen, a former goldmining village located in the northeast coast. Not only does Jiufen old street and Jiufen’s tasty local food attracts tourists to come visit; its unique and extraordinary scenery also draws movie-makers’ attentions world-wide – a number of movies were filmed based on the scenic area here. After the visit go on to Yilan, for a visit to Four Guitar Ford Temple, before heading to the biggest night market in Hualien – Nan Bin Night Market, to enjoy some of the best local good in Taiwan. Overnight at 4 ★ Lige Hotel or similar.

DAY 4: Hualien – Taitung (B/L/D)
After breakfast transfer to Taroko National Park. Taroko Gorge is best known for its pure marble cliffs, deep gorges and canyons, and the winding tunnels. Afterwards go on to stop for a visit at Taroko Archway and Eternal Spring Shrine. Nearby you will also have a chance to stop by the Aboriginal Center, where a lot of agricultural and hand-made arts products are provided. After the visit continue to Taitung Chihpen Hot Spring Area.. Overnight at 4 ★ Rainbow Hotel or similar.

DAY 5: Taitung-Pington-Kaohsiung (B/L)
Morning departure for one of the hottest tourist attractions in the south of Taiwan – Kenting. Upon arrival visit Eluanbi Lighthouse, which is nicknamed as “The light of East Asia.” Then continue to Kaohsiung. Stop at Kaohsiung Dream Mall Shopping Center to enjoy the fun of shopping! You could also enjoy the Hello Kitty Ferries Wheel ride here (at own expense). Then continue to Love River, and enjoy a stunning view along the bank side, while taking a boat ride. After the visits carry on to Lioho Night Market; here you can have a try on all sorts of delicious local dishes at very reasonable prices! Overnight at 4 ★ National Citizen Hotel or similar

DAY 6: Kaohsiung-Nantou-Taichung (B/L)
Today visit Sun Moon Lake the largest lake in Taiwan. There is an island called “Guang Huai Island” in the middle of the lake; the northern part of the island looks like a sun, and the southern part looks like a moon; and this is where the name “Sun Moon” comes from. After the visit continue to Ita Thao Cultural & Historical Museum nearby, and stop by Wenwu Temple and Peacock Garden for visit. Tonight spend some time at Fongjia Taichung biggest Night Market. Overnight at 4 ★ Chin Hua Hotel or similar.

DAY 7: Taichung-Miaoli-Taipei (B/L)
Today we will visit Dahu Winery. Enjoy the wine tasting and the production center at the winery, before moving on to Strawberry Culture Museum. Later visit Shihlin Presidential Residence Garden, the Aboriginal Product Center & Martyr’s Shrine. At Martyr’s Shrine you can watch the famous Change of Guards ceremony which takes place every hour. Next stop at Tian Lu Arts Center before continuing to Taipei 101 Shopping Center, the tallest building in the world. In the evening transfer to Shihlin Night Market to enjoy the wide selection of delicious local food. Overnight at 4 ★ Hondo Waikoloa Hotel or similar.

DAY 8: Taipei-Taoyuan Airport (B)
After breakfast enjoy free time before transfer to the airport for your flight to Guangzhou CZ 3098 at 1430hrs. Arrive into Guangzhou at 1635hrs, connect to CZ 321 at 2350hrs to Melbourne.

DAY 9: Taichung-Miaoli-Taipei (B/L)
Arrive into Melbourne at 1230hrs
