ITINERARY:

DAY 1: ARRIVE KUNMING (D)
On arrival, transfer to the 4 star Kunming Hotel for two nights stay. Afternoon visit the Western Hills Forest Park and Dragon Gate, for spectacular city views

DAY 2: KUNMING - STONE FOREST - KUNMING (B/L/D)
After breakfast, you will travel by coach to the Stone Forest - a captivating maze of jagged limestone crags, which is truly one of the world’s most amazing natural landscapes. Drive back to Kunming for dinner.

DAY 3: KUNMING - DALI (B/L/D)
Transfer to Kunming Airport for your flight to the historic city of Dali. On arrival visit the Cangshan Mountains (by cable car), which dominate the Dali area. Stay at the 4 star Meideng Hotel for two nights.

DAY 4: DALI (B/L/D)
This morning’s Dali city tour visits the Butterfly Fountain, Three Pagoda Temple and the Dali Ancient Town. After lunch take a cruise on Er Lake, enjoy the Bai Nationality Tea Show and visit Jinshuo and Nanzhao Islands for souvenir shopping.

DAY 5: DALI - LIJIANG (B/L/D)
TMorning drive by coach to Lijiang. In the afternoon we explore this magnificent World Heritage listed historic city. Dinner in the Ancient City. Stay at the 4 star Jade Dragon Garden Hotel for two nights.

DAY 6: LIJIANG (B/L/D)
This morning take the cable car ride to the spectacular summit of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Later visit Yufeng Lhama Temple, Baihai Village, Baihai Grotto and the Black Dragon Pool.

DAY 7: LIJIANG - ZHONGDIAN (B/L/D)
After breakfast depart on your full day’s drive to Zhongdian, via the spectacular Tiger Leaping Gorge. Stay at the 4 star Guanguang Hotel for three nights.

DAY 8: ZHONGDIAN (B)
Day free for you to acclimatize to the high altitude and explore the fascinating markets of this Tibetan border city.

DAY 9: SHANGRI-LA (B/L/D)
The Zhongdian area is believed to be the inspiration of the mystical Shangri-La in the famous novel “Lost Horizons". Today’s tour includes visits to the Napa Lake Reserve, Bita Lake, Songzanglin Temple and a Zang minority village.

DAY 10: ZHONGDIAN - KUNMING - GUILIN (B/L/D)
After an early breakfast, transfer to Zhongdian Airport for your flight to Guilin via Kunming. On arrival, transfer to the 4 star Guilin Bravo Hotel for your two night stay. After lunch, visit the beautiful Reed Flute Caves, then to Fubo Hill on the western banks of the Li River, for scenic views of Guilin City.

DAY 11: GUILIN - LONGSHENG - GUILIN (B/L/D)
Full day tour by coach to Longsheng, a remote and mountainous region located 80 km from Guilin. Highlights of the day will include the spectacular 1100 metre high Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces and a visit to a Zhuang minority village. Return to Guilin in the late afternoon.

DAY 12: GUILIN - YANGSHUO (B/L/D)
After breakfast, board a Li River cruise boat for the scenically beautiful journey to the town of Yangshuo. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on the boat. On arrival in Yangshuo transfer to the Paradise Resort for your overnight stay. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the streets and shopping in this small market town.

DAY 13: YANGSHUO-GUILIN - GUANGZHOU (B/L/D)
After breakfast, travel by coach to the Guilin Airport for your direct flight to Guangzhou. Check into the 4 star Rosedale Hotel for your overnight stay. After lunch, your city tour includes visits to the Chen Family Temple, the Five Rams Statue and Dr. Sun Yatsen’s Memorial Hall.

DAY 14: DEPART GUANGZHOU -(B)
Day free until your transfer to Guangzhou International Airport for your onward journey
