The internationally acclaimed Hunter Valley is one of Australia's finest wine regions. Head into the valley and enjoy magnificent views overlooking Cessnock, Pokolbin and the surrounding vineyards. The Hunter Valley is Australia's oldest wine producing area with a colourful history dating back over 150 years. The Hunter region grows many varieties of grapes including Chardonnay, Semillon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. With over 50 wineries in the area, each has its own special cycle of wine making.

Historic Wollombi
Cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge and travel through Sydney's North Shore, then over the Hawkesbury River to Wollombi, first settled in 1820. Visit Wollombi Tavern where you can sample the famous Doctor Jurds Jungle Juice and enjoy a morning tea of scones with jam and cream with tea or coffee. Yum!
Hunter Valley Wineries & Gardens
After your private wine tasting at Lindemans, the rest of the afternoon is at your leisure at Hunter Valley Gardens. The Gardens are spread over 25 hectares with twelve amazing feature gardens. Discover each garden one by one and be enchanted with your experience of the colourful flowers, trees and shrubs. A two course lunch is provided at The Garden Terrace Cafe. Visit Hunter Valley Gardens village before heading back to Sydney.
