ITINERARY:

DAY 1: MELBOURNE - AUCKLAND
Depart for Auckland by international/domestic flight. Upon arrival, please take a shuttle bus to your hotel at own expense (NZ$26 pp), rest of the day free time at leisure. Accommodation: 3* Kingsgate Hotel Parnell or similar

DAY 2: ROTORUA - WAITOMO - TAUPO - ROTORUA (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, your guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel. Journey south to Waitomo. Upon arrival you will enjoy a tour into the world famous Waitomo Caves for amazing views. After lunch you will travel to Lake Taupo, the largest lake in NZ with an area of about the size of Singapore. View the Huka Falls and Wairakei Geothermal Power Station. Optional activities including bungy jumping, jet boating (which was invented by New Zealanders), or hire a boat for fishing. Continue to Rotorua. Tonight you can experience a special Polynesian Pool spa at own expense.

DAY 3: ROTORUA - AUCKLAND (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel you will depart to Skyline Skyrides for a gondola ride up a mountain. Then you travel to Te Puia for Maori cultural experiences and see shooting geysers and boiling mud pools. After lunch you will visit Rainbow Springs to see hundred of trout swimming in spring water, Kiwis, and other nature wildlife. Back to Auckland in the afternoon.
